The original work of artist, Ruth Bravetti, is displayed in the galleries. Monoprints, monotype, drawings, paintings, and mixed-media prints, are the majority of my two dimensional visual art work. I do hope you find it enjoyable to view the creations that I have produced over the years. The digital photos do not show the true colors, texture, nor do they display the quality of the prints of the original work. The images are divided into galleries. It was not easy deciding which gallery to place the pictures and keep the number in each gallery consistent. For this reason pictures may seem slightly misplaced.

Most of my work is mixed media monoprints. There are some drawings and paintings but printmaking with it's endless textures is my area of interest. I build my plates using a variety of materials; plexiglas, wood, linoleum, cardboard, and whatever I can find. Numerous materials are also glued onto the plates to produce the images. Several tools are used to cut into the plate creating shapes and texture. Intaglio, relief, chine colle, monotype, and stencils are printing techniques I use in combination with each other. With my latest work I am concentrating on using non-toxic materials that are more environmentally safe.

The original prints were made using a flat bed press or hand rubbed. Each is a unique image. My original work is not for sale at this time. A fine arts digital printing company produces the prints from my originals. They are high quality prints.
